"I'll come and have a look"
If another electrician has not been able to finish your job, John's answer is simple: he will come and have a look, and he is sure he will be able to help. After 49 years in the trade, there are very few surprises left.
The kind of jobs John takes on
- Faults that keep coming back after other electricians have been out
- Old houses with wiring from several different eras
- Cabling through solid walls, double brick and tight roof spaces
- Half-finished jobs that need someone to sort them out
- Pay TV and TV installs others called impossible
John does not do new-build houses. He would rather spend his time on the jobs that need real experience.
